A. P. Erickson was born in Lannes, Nerike, Sweden in the year 1840.  He married Louisa Larodotter  (might be Laredotter).  They were parents to eight children:  Joseph (born in Sweden), Andrew, William, Mary, Huldah, Gustave, Annie, and John.

The family of Ericksons and Nelsons left Sweden in 1869 ariving (sic) at Castle Garden, New York April 2, 1869.
