Williamson (1842-1895) Wife of James B. Knowles
This photo duplicates a daguerrotype image
of Lavonia Catherine Williamson of Butts Co. GA. She was the daughter of
Nathan Camp Williamson, and Agness (Thompson) Williamson. The photo was probably
made between 1854-1856. "Katie" married Dr. James B. Knowles in
Butts Co. in Nov 1859. Both are buried in the Williamson/Knowles cemetery
there, along with her parents, and great-grandfather, John Williamson
Sr.(d.1831).
